The Children

The adults dismiss nearly everything as impossible, absurd
But the children know better than the ordered, precise ways of the adults
For being a child is not a stage in life which you outgrow, it is a state of mind and existence
Being a child is being able to fight for a worthless cause and still triumph
Being a child is being able to continue through life as normal, no matter what tragedy occurs
Being a child is being able to know someone is bad, that what they did was wrong, yet still love them with all your heart and soul
Because forgiveness is as easy as breathing to a child
A talent people forget when they reach adulthood
A talent worth treasuring
A child does not care for items or possessions
Friendships and the people themselves are all that matters, not what riches they might own
Being a child is not a stage you grow out of upon reaching adulthood
It is a set of beliefs and views you lose faith in
Everyone has an inner child
But most people ignore it, forcing it back to the deepest recesses of their minds
So take a moment, and be a child again
See the world through the eyes of the innocent
See the world for what it really is
Not a distorted and disfigured view that has been corrupted by greed and desire
Believe in the beliefs of a child, embrace childhood with open arms, and live a life worth living once more

I must admitt that is more than a lecture on various stuff than poetry, but I believe what it says and its worth reading. I might start posting more stuff, and short stories too, anyway. Infact, I shall. And I shall do as much as i can now, if not maybe thursday, for i am busy
